Cardano RealFi Weekly Newsletter - Issue #53
It's been a greet week for the crypto market. Was this all spurred by Jim Cramer telling everyone to sell their crypto?
Meld Private Testnet
The 500 testers that were selected by Meld have begun using the private testnet. The UI looks a lot more plain then I was hoping but hopefully that will be updated before mainnet. If you are a tester let me know what your first impressions are.
Indigo DEX Aggregator
Indigo announced they will be adding a DEX aggregator for their iAssets to their protocol. This will make it easier for those that want to do arbitrage on DEXs.
Ryan Matovu Buying NFTs?
Looks like Ryan Matovu may be buying Ethereum NFTs. Interesting since I thought he had lost all his money to Orbis?
Genius X Galaxy NFT Tickets Claim
If you won the Genius X Multi-token ISPO lottery, you can now claim your reward. Just take your Galaxy NFT ticket and talk to VAL in the Genius Discord or Telegram.
Winners were selected at random and should have the ticket in their wallet.
PlayerMint Testnet Live
PlayerMint “The Play - Earn - Trade” platform has launched their testnet. Earning points makes you eligible for prize pools and more. Check out their lightpaper for more details.
Cardano Network Issue
An issue with the network happened over the weekend. Around 50% of Cardano nodes disconnected and restarted. We are currently waiting for a more in depth break down of what happened. Luckily the whole network did not go down.
Taptools pro has been released. Let’s take a look at the new format.
Looks like they added a wallet profiler. You can put in the wallet name and see what transactions they have performed. Such as when they sold a token and how much they could have gained or lost if they sold or bought at a later time.
They also have a hot wallets section where you can see which wallets have high volume and how much they are making.
I’ll be hosting a Twitter space with them this Thursday at 1130 AM ET. Drop by with your questions and comments about the platform.
This week we have a lot of red in the market. Double digit decreases with WMT (-11.27%), INDY (-24.40%), CLAY (-17.74%).
LQ remains steady this last week only losing .04% in the last 7 days. Still no announcements of launch date.
MELD up 9.67% possibly due to the private testnet showing they have a product. Just be aware a large unlock should be occuring next month for those that locked up MELD tokens for 1 year.
SUNDAE & GENS were up this week. No news that could show why.
AGIX fell out of the top 10 and is in the 11th spot.
Hydra Auctions
IOG is working with MLabs to make auctions using Hydra. Would like to see this implemented into a lot of NFT marketplaces. Once entering a hydra head bids would be able to be placed without paying transaction fees each time. Only when the hydra head closes would the fees be taken and the assets would be give to the winner of the auction.
Gero Stakepool Rewards
Gero has introduced rewards to their stakepool. Rewards begin to accrue after epoch 391 and can be claimed via Drip Dropz. If you hold NFTs or GERO tokens you can earn bonuses. For more info see this medium article.
